Cognac
Remy Martin VSOP
Rémy Martin uses traditional distillation of the lees (sediment from grape fermentation) in small copper stills, and aging takes place in oak barrels of the Limousin type. After final blending, this cognac spends another year in 20-year old oak barrels.
At 40% alcohol by volume, the VSOP is a blend with ages ranging from four to fifteen years, all sourced from the finest grapes in the two premier crus.
The aroma presents a harmonious harmony of powerful elegance with notes of vanilla, dried apricot and candied pear, while on the palate a balance of aromatic dried fruits and delicate liquorice give a complex flavour experience, with a structured and layered finish featuring a rounded harmony of dried fruits and silky texture.
